Policies.

Reservations & Waitlist

  • While walk-ins are welcome, class sizes are limited and are often sold out. We highly recommend reserving classes online in order to guarantee your spot in class. Reservations are location specific and can be made in advance through our website or mobile app.
  • Classes fill up quickly, but spaces will open up as clients reschedule. If you’d like to attend a class that is full, please put yourself on the waitlist. As soon as a spot opens up in class, you will receive an email notification. Please reply to the email immediately whether you can attend or not. Your spot in class is not guaranteed until you confirm.
  • When you arrive at the studio, please check-in at the front desk. Reservations will be honored until 5 minutes after the scheduled class time. If you do not arrive on time, your reservation will be given away to anyone on the waitlist. New clients must arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class.

Late Cancel/No Show Policy

  • All cancellations must be made online. 12-hour cancellation policy for weekend and morning classes. Afternoon and evening classes can be cancelled online up to 60 minutes before class.
  • New Client Special, All Club Bar/Auto-Renew Memberships – If you do not cancel your reservation within the cancelation window, your credit card will be charged $15 + tax.
  • Pre-Paid Classes and Class Pass – If you do not cancel within the cancelation window, one class will be deducted for each late cancel or no show.

Late Arrival to Class

  • New clients must arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class.
  • Returning students may enter an ongoing class up to, but not after, 10 minutes into class, but if another student is waiting to enter the class, you may lose your spot 5 minutes into class.
  • Upon entering class, lift your knees 20 times to warm up before joining in.

Class Attire

  • Please wear exercise pants that cover the knees, a top that cover the midriff, and socks that cover the entire foot.
  • Students may bring their own socks from home, or purchase trademarked Bar Method socks with sticky grips at the studio.

Studio Etiquette

  • Drinks:
    • Water only. No sport drinks, colored drinks, sugar drinks or flavored water allowed in the studio. Bring your own water bottles if you wish to take water into the studio. We have filtered water available and offer Bar Method water bottles for purchase.
  • No Cell Phones
  • No Gum Chewing
  • Please do not attend class if you are sick with a cold or flu.

Pregnant Students

  • Pregnant students must provide the front desk with a note from their doctor allowing them to take strengthening and stretching classes.
  • In addition, first-time students who are pregnant must begin taking classes within the first 12 weeks of their pregnancy, or have a minimum of 1 month of prior Bar Method experience, or have taken at least five Bar Method Pregnancy DVD workouts.
  • Please call the studio in advance to arrange a meeting with an instructor to go over pregnancy modifications prior to taking your first class.

Age Restrictions

  • You must be 14 years or older to attend class.
  • Clients under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, you must provide written authorization from a parent or legal guardian prior to taking class and have them sign a release of liability at the studio.

Illness & Injuries

  • Illness:
    • Please do not attend class if you are sick with a cold or flu.
  • Injuries:
    • Please be sure to disclose all injuries on your new client intake from as well as inform all teachers in advance of class if there is anything acute that may require special attention or a possible modification.
    • Be sure to have clearance from your doctor to take Bar Method post-injury. We reserve the right to not have you take class if we think your injury may be irritated by taking class.
